Volunteer Opportunities
Science Night: Volunteers needed
Science Night is an annual Bishop School event where students have an opportunity to present their own science projects and to explore fun hands-on STEM activities. This year, Science Night will be on Wednesday, April 15 from 5:00-7:00pm. We're looking for parents to help plan the event, and we're also looking for parents who'd like to host new activities in areas such as chemistry, engineering, technology-- we're open to ideas! Please contact Joanne Spector (joannelouisa@gmail.com) or Jennifer Tsang (jenniferobrientsang@gmail.com) for further information.
Bear Fair: Volunteers needed
Bear Fair planning is officially underway, and we’d love to connect with volunteers who are interested in helping. As you know, Bear Fair is a major fundraiser for Bishop and a much-loved community event, and it takes a team to bring it to life!
We’re looking for volunteers to join the planning committee and to help lead event stations. This is a great opportunity to get involved and help make Bear Fair another big success. If you’re interested—or know someone who might be—please reach out to bishopschool.pto@gmail.com. We’d love to chat!
Lost & Found - We're still looking for volunteers to help with the Lost & Found! Each volunteer will sign up for one month and only needs to visit the Lost & Found once a week during that time, in total of 4 or 5 times a month. Tasks include tidying the foyer Lost & Found area and collecting any items left on the playground or in other school spaces. Sign up here to help!
Donate to the Annual Fund!
Through our fundraising we are able to provide programs and events to supplement your child's school experience; to support the teachers, school, and administration; and to foster a sense of community within the school. Last year the PTO raised and distributed over $60k. The suggested donation is $140/per child. We can’t support these efforts without the help of you, our community, so please consider donating today at this link.
Suggested amount $140 per child
