PTO Grants
The Bishop School PTO offers grants to Bishop teachers, staff and community members to benefit the children of the Bishop School and the Bishop community. The intention of PTO Grants is to fund projects that are not or will not be funded through traditional funding channels such as the school, classroom or PTO budgets. There is no set amount for a PTO grant. Funds will be paid on actual expenses incurred only. For the 2024–2025 school year, approximately $4,000 has been budgeted for PTO grants in the areas of:
Grant Process
Those interested in seeking PTO grant monies should apply here. Submitting an application for funding is considered a request for funds only. All grant requests must be approved by the PTO board before money will be distributed or expenses will be reimbursed.
Starting this school year, the Bishop PTO will have 9 grant cycles over the school year (October 1 through June 1). Grant requests must be submitted online prior to the first of the month to be considered for that given month.

The Bishop PTO Board meets to review and approve submitted grants following these deadlines. The Board will provide the applicant with a grant approval or other feedback by the PTO meeting that same month (generally occurring on the first Wednesday of the month). No money will be disbursed until after that PTO general meeting.
