We are excited to launch our 5th annual Bishop Read-A-Thon! This is always a fun event that challenges each reader to complete reading sessions over a 3-week duration. It also entails some friendly competition between classes and prizes for the most minutes read and funds raised. The main focus of the Read-A-Thon is to promote and reinforce Bishop’s dedication to improving literacy skills in our community.
To participate in the Read-A-Thon you will need to create a login on the Bishop PTO website (if you haven't already) in order to set-up your child’s fundraising page. Once the fundraising page is set up, you will have the ability to share it with friends and family who may want to show their support for your reader by making a donation. For the personal message on the fundraising page, your child may want to share any goals they have for the event. For example, how many books they plan to read, how many minutes they hope to log, or if they just want to win the class prize for the most donations!
We hope each one of you will encourage your child to participate!
Please note: Reading to your child, listening to audio books, online reading, paper books and even in-school reading ALL count as Read-A-Thon minutes!
Let’s Get Started!
Step 1: Go to Bishop Elementary PTO - Login (bishopschoolpto.com) to log in or create a login.
Step 2: To find your child's fundraising page go to the MyAccount tab in the navigation and click on MyForms/Paperwork. https://www.bishopschoolpto.com/Open_Forms
Step 3: On the MyForms/Paperwork page select your child’s name under Fundraising Campaign.
Step 4: Begin setting up your child's fundraising page including their goals.
Step 5: Start sharing with family and friends by clicking on Facebook or email link!

**Printable logs: Please leave in the PTO mailbox (main office) by the end of day on Fridays during each week of the Read-A-Thon so they can be recorded**
