Textile Recycling Competition – April 30 to May 30
Time for a spring clean! Join the 9th Annual Arlington Public Schools Textile Recycling Competition and help reduce landfill waste.
Bring your worn, torn, or outgrown textiles (clothing, shoes, towels, bedding, even stuffed animals!) to your school’s outdoor textile recycling bin between April 30 and May 30.
All items must be bagged before placing them in the bin.
The schools with the most donations will win 1st and 2nd place prizes—tracked by Bay State Textiles!
For a list of acceptable donations click here. For questions about the competition or to report bin overflow, please contact Rachel Oliveri, APS Sustainability Project Manager at roliveri@arlington.k12.ma.us.
